Tribute to Richard Coles, 1954 - 2023

I have many happy memories of family gatherings. Richard, his brother Ian, and Eric and Joan- my aunt and uncle, with my Mum and Dad Norman and Barbara and sister Sheila. We would have high tea, followed by family games. There would be a lot of high jinks and laughter. I particularly remember on one occasion Richard played his guitar and sang Leaving on a Jet Plane by Peter, Paul and Mary. Richard was close in age to me and I always appreciated his good humour and sense of fun. I thought of him as a thoroughly good egg and he was a favourite cousin.
